Artist, painter, graphic artist British, born in 1959, cap always on his head, Julian Beever has starred in his own way the art of "anamorphism", also called "anamorphic painting",a particular optical illusion that creates the 3D effect with two-dimensional images.
A technique already in vogue in the Renaissance, in painting, which is adapted from Beever pavements and walls of buildings. One way to bring art to catch up with people who are walking on those sidewalks.
Dubbed the "Pavement Picasso", his works are special because they can be crossed, crushed, or modified from the weather. Luckily Julian in person shall photograph them once finished.
Careful where you put your feet, you might stumble across one of the works that follow (a humble selection of the most significant works of this talented artist).
