The 3D Pavement Art Illusion by Kurt Wenner

I still speak about 3D Art, but this time I do it about a skilled of 3D Street Painting such as the artist and architect Kurt Wenner who was born in Michigan and raised in California. After working as an illustrator of extraterrestrial landscapes,
en 1982 Wenner moved to Italy to study art.
Here he knows the techniques of artists, designers and begins to experiment with techniques of Trompe d'oeil, the optical illusion created in frescoed ceilings, which is a direct continuation of the studies on perspective. He began to paint on the road, giving life to the classically inspired architecture populated with unique creatures, from synthetic universe of his imagination.
As all street artists, he continued to paint with pastels, by hand and always he makes 'live painting', in front of people watching him. En 1991 he paints a road for Pope John Paul II on the occasion of his visit to Mantua (*).
Like many other street and graffiti artists, his art is ephemeral, and how they sometimes paints on commission (but never without asking permission).
The National Geographic made a documentary about his work for us ... now let's enjoy this photo gallery, we'll talk again soon.
